The Racket

Brian, Ben, and Tom met on the squash courts in Evanston in 2011. Talking music and bands was always a part of the games.  Soon after, they learned they each played an instrument - Brian the bass, Ben keys, and Tom guitar. For a few years they played as a trio, with Tom taking vocals, for small events and parties around Chicago's North Shore. The Racket version 1.0 was born. 

Tom was hitting open jams in Highwood and met Daniel, who soon came on board as the lead guitarist and another vocalist. The Racket version 2.0 was born, defined by Daniel's guitar work, the mix of electrics and acoustics, and the band's multi-vocalists and harmonies.  

Danny, another long time Highwood jammer and Chicagoland player, joined on drums, vocals and percussion to elevate us to who we are today - version 3.0.
